Black Beans with Brown Rice June 8, 2016 By Jump to recipe Black Beans With Brown Rice June 8, 2016 by EIR Category Recipes Serving Size 4 Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 30 minutes Ingredients 2 cup brown rice, long grain, cooked 4 cup black bean, no added salt, organic 1 tbsp jalapeno pepper, diced 1/2 cup onion, raw, chopped 1/2 tsp tumeric 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin, 100% first cold pressed, unrefined Instructions Mix all ingredients except brown rice. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Serve 1 cup over 1/2 cup brown rice. Makes 4 servings. Add a side salad if desired.
