Black Beans With Brown Rice

Ingredients
- 2 cup brown rice, long grain, cooked
- 4 cup black bean, no added salt, organic
- 1 tbsp jalapeno pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, raw, chopped
- 1/2 tsp tumeric
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin, 100% first cold pressed, unrefined
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except brown rice.
- Bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve 1 cup over 1/2 cup brown rice.
- Makes 4 servings.
- Add a side salad if desired.
