Chop garlic and add to cherry tomatoes tossed with olive oil. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and add asparagus spears and black pepper, mixing well. Return to oven for additional 8 minutes. Remove from oven and toss with balsamic vinegar before serving.
