Trout with Broccoli & Garlic Sauce June 8, 2016 By Jump to recipe Trout With Broccoli And Garlic Sauce June 8, 2016 by EIR Category Recipes Persons 1 Ingredients 1 cup broccoli flower clusters, raw 3 oz trout, raw, wild caught ½ cup water, distilled 1 small onion, raw, small ½ tsp tarragon, dried, leaves ¼ tsp black pepper, ground 1 ½ tbsp mayonnaise, olive oil base, organic 2 tsp lemon juice, raw 2 clove garlic, raw ¼ tsp mustard powder ¼ tsp black pepper, ground Instructions Steam broccoli until crisp/tender. Slice onion into rings. In a large skillet combine water, onion and tarragon and bring to a boil. Add trout that has been seasoned with black pepper. Cover and poach 2-5 minutes. Remove fish and onion with a slotted spoon to a serving platter, keep warm. In a bowl combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped garlic, mustard and pepper. Add 1-3 tablespoons of cooking liquid until a desired sauce consistency is achieved. Serve fish and broccoli with garlic sauce over the top. May also substitute perch. © 2022 Copyright © 2016.
