Beef and Mushroom Stew August 7, 2017 By Jump to recipe Beef and Mushroom Stew August 7, 2017 by EIR Category Recipes Persons 4 Prep Time 20 minutes Ingredients 1 lb BEEF, TOP SIRLOIN STEAK, BONELESS, RAW 3 cloves GARLIC, RAW 1 cup ONION, RAW, CHOPPED 1 tsp OLIVE OIL, EXTRA VIRGIN, 100% first cold pressed unrefined 2 tbsp GLUTEN FREE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 1 tsp BLACK PEPPER, GROUND 3 cup MUSHROOM, RAW 1 1/2 cup WHITE WINE, DRY 1/2 cup WATER 1/4 cup ORANGE JUICE, ORGANIC, NO ADDED SUGAR 2 tsp BASIL, DRIED, LEAVES 1 tsp THYME, DRIED 1.5 cup TOMATOES, DICED 1 cup CARROT, RAW, SLICED Instructions Cut beef into cubes. Chop garlic and add oil to a skillet. Add beef , garlic and onion and sauté 5 minutes. Combine GF flour and pepper and sprinkle over beef. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add mushrooms and next 7 ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered. Stir occasionally and simmer 40 minutes or until beef is tender.
